Los alumnos de 2º ESO del colegio Julio Verne School han participado en el proyecto “EL PATRIMONIO ROTULÍSTICO DE TORRENT” centrándose en el ODS 11 Ciudades Sostenibles. Es una iniciativa enfocada a incrementar la urbanización a ritmo sostenible, de manera inclusiva e integrada. Para ello colaboramos en la iniciativa TiposQueImportan liderada por Miguel Maestro para visibilizar el patrimonio cultural de la ciudad de Torrent.
La actividad consistió en pasar la mañana por distintos barrios de Torrent realizando fotografías de rótulos comerciales que pudieran considerar patrimonio cultural de nuestra ciudad.
Los alumnos estaban organizados en grupos y cada grupo tenía asignada una zona de la ciudad de Torrent. Tenían que realizar fotografías con sus móviles, geolocalizar el rótulo o la cartelería fotografiada e intentar documentar la historia de la tienda y del rótulo fotografiado.
Las fotografías realizadas seleccionadas por la clase se subirán a una plataforma diseñada por “TiposQueImportan” para dar visibilidad al patrimonio rotulístico de la ciudad de Torrent.

“Para mí, la excursión de Torrent me pareció muy interesante, ya que descubrí muchas cosas sobre las tiendas y más sobre su historia. También fue muy entretenida porque pudimos disfrutar tiempo con nuestros amigos en la calle. En mi opinión deberíamos hacer más excursiones así, ya que la disfrutamos muchísimo”

“Esta excursión me ha parecido una muy buena experiencia que sin duda repetiría porque me ha hecho darme cuenta de que algunos negocios a los que vamos diariamente, con sus luces e instalaciones necesarias que vemos completamente habituales en los locales, han estado más de un siglo, de generación en generación, luchando para hoy darnos la oportunidad de disfrutar cada día de sus servicios, pese a el arduo trabajo y esfuerzo que conlleva mantener un negocio durante tanto tiempo. También me gustaría agradecer a los profesores de haber podido tener esta oportunidad, gracias”.

The students from 2nd ESO in Julio Verne School have participated in the project “THE PATELLAR HERITAGE OF TORRENT” focusing on SDG 11 Sustainable Cities. It is an initiative focused on increasing urbanization at a sustainable pace, in an inclusive and integrated way. For this we collaborate in the “TiposQueImportan” initiative led by Miguel Maestro, to make cultural heritage visible in the city of Torrent.
The activity consisted in spending the morning in different neighborhoods of Torrent, taking photographs of commercial signs considered to be cultural heritage points of the city.
The students were organized in groups and each group was assigned to an area of the city of Torrent. They had to take photographs with their mobiles, geolocate the signs or photograph shop signs and try to document the history of each shop sign photographed.
The photographs selected by the class were uploaded onto a platform designed by “TiposQueImportan” to give visibility to the heritage and signs of the city of Torrent.

“For me, the Torrent tour seemed very interesting, as I discovered a lot about the shops and more about their history. It was also very entertaining because we were able to enjoy time with our friends outside. In my opinion we should do more excursions like this, as we enjoyed it very much”

“This excursion seemed to be a very good experience that I would undoubtedly repeat because it has made me realize that some businesses that we go every day, with their lights and necessary facilities that we see completely usual in the premises, have been more than a century, from generation to generation, fighting today to give us the opportunity to enjoy their services every day, despite the hard work and effort that goes into maintaining a business for so long. I would also like to thank the teachers for being able to have this opportunity, thank you.”
