El momento especial de Infantil
En Infantil, hay un momento del día en el importan muchas cosas: todos nuestros compis, nuestros sentimientos, nuestras emociones, nuestras anécdotas, nuestras hazañas, los nuevos retos, lo que ha pasado, lo que está pasando y lo que va a pasar.
Cada mañana, empezamos con este momento: la asamblea. Un momento en el que nos reunimos y damos comienzo al día, nos saludamos, vemos quién no ha venido al cole, vemos que día es, en qué mes estamos y que va a pasar esta semana o este mes, contamos los días para que lleguen los días especiales, vemos que tiempo hace, cómo nos sentimos y preparamos la rutina de ese día; además de comentar cualquier anécdota esporádica que pueda surgir desde los más peques, quienes a esta edad, quieren compartirlo todo.
Este momento nos ayuda a situarnos en el espacio-tiempo, promoviendo una mejor comprensión de lo que está ocurriendo y nos ayuda a anticipar lo que va a ocurrir, y hacernos sentir más seguros.
Podríamos pensar que es sólo una actividad rutinaria, pero es mucho más que eso, este espacio fomenta la participación activa de los más peques, promoviendo un ambiente de respeto y escucha mutua. A través de esta interacción, los niños aprenden a comunicarse, expresar sus pensamientos y escuchar a los demás, habilidades fundamentales para la convivencia pacífica y el trabajo en equipo.
Es un espacio seguro, en el que pueden hablar de sus sentimientos en un entorno de apoyo, porque saben que van a ser escuchados y se sienten valorados y comprendidos, lo que contribuye a una mayor autoestima y confianza en sí mismos.
La asamblea también ofrece una oportunidad diaria para enriquecer el vocabulario, ya que se pueden introducir nuevas palabras y expresiones y así estimular la expresión oral. Además, se pueden convertir en ayudante de la asamblea, lo que quiere decir que lideran ellos la asamblea, con la profe como guía, se les motiva a hablar delante de los demás.
La asamblea no solo educa, sino que también crea un ambiente en el que los peques pueden crecer y florecer, preparándolos para un futuro exitoso y feliz. Preparados para volar.

Preschool’s special moment
In preschool, there is a time of the day when many things matter: all our classmates, our feelings, our emotions, our anecdotes, our new challenges, what has happened, what is happening and what is going to happen.
Every morning, we start with this moment: the “circle time”. A moment in which we get together and start the day, we greet each other, we see who is missing, we see what day it is, what month it is and what is going to happen this week or this month, we count the days until the special days arrive, we see what the weather is like, how we feel and we prepare the routine for that day; as well as commenting on any sporadic anecdotes that may arise from the little ones, who at this age, want to share everything.
This moment helps us to situate ourselves in space-time, promoting a better understanding of what is happening and helping us to anticipate what is going to happen, making us feel more confident.
We might think that it is just a routine activity, but it is much more than that, this space encourages the active participation of the little ones, promoting an atmosphere of respect and mutual listening. Through this interaction, children learn to communicate, express their thoughts and listen to others, fundamental skills for peaceful coexistence and teamwork.
It is a safe space, where they can talk about their feelings in a supportive environment because they know they will be listened to, so they feel valued and understood, which contributes to increased self-esteem and self-confidence.
The circle time also offers a daily opportunity to enrich vocabulary, as new words and expressions can be introduced and thus stimulate oral expression. In addition, they can become a circle time helper, which means that they lead the assembly themselves, with the teacher as a guide, and they are encouraged to speak in front of others.
The assembly not only educates but also creates an environment in which children can grow and flourish, getting them ready for a successful and happy future. Ready to fly.
