Creatividad, arte y diversidad cultural en el corazón del aprendizaje
Inspiring Art, Embracing Cultures es nuestro proyecto de centro que conecta arte, música y culturas de todo el mundo con la educación diaria. A lo largo del curso, será el hilo conductor de las actividades extraordinarias: desde el primer día de colegio hasta Carnaval, festivales de fin de curso y proyectos interdisciplinares en áreas como Música, Inglés, Educación Física, Sociales o Global Perspectives.
El proyecto permite que el alumnado explore la historia y los distintos estilos musicales, aprenda canciones y coreografías de diversas culturas y las presente en festivales, fomentando la creatividad, la expresión artística y la participación activa. Cada actividad se convierte en una oportunidad para aprender, experimentar y disfrutar de la música como lenguaje universal.
Un proyecto interdisciplinar y creativo
La creatividad es el eje central de este proyecto. Coordinando acciones entre distintas materias, buscamos desarrollar el talento del alumnado, reforzar el aprendizaje de idiomas y fomentar la curiosidad y el pensamiento crítico. Además, cada estudiante tiene voz y protagonismo, eligiendo canciones, bailes y disfraces, participando activamente en la vida del colegio y sus celebraciones.
Objetivos principales
- Fomentar la creatividad y la expresión artística en todas las etapas educativas.
- Promover proyectos interdisciplinares y colaborativos entre áreas y niveles.
- Desarrollar competencias de pensamiento crítico, emprendimiento y resolución de problemas.
- Aplicar los conocimientos de idiomas en contextos reales y creativos.
- Visibilizar la cultura, la música y la diversidad como parte esencial del aprendizaje.
Toda la comunidad educativa implicada
Inspiring Art, Embracing Cultures involucra a alumnado, profesorado y familias, creando un entorno de aprendizaje participativo, dinámico y enriquecedor. Desde el diseño de decorados y photocalls hasta la difusión de actividades en la web y redes sociales, el proyecto convierte la educación en una experiencia emocionante, significativa y compartida.
Con este proyecto, en Julio Verne School apostamos por una educación que inspira, conecta y transforma, donde el arte y la cultura son herramientas para aprender, sentir y crecer juntos.

Creativity, art, and cultural diversity at the heart of learning
Inspiring Art, Embracing Cultures is our school project that connects art, music, and cultures from around the world with everyday education. Throughout the school year, it will be the common thread linking all our special activities: from the first day of school to Carnival, end-of-year festivals, and interdisciplinary projects in areas such as Music, English, Physical Education, Social Studies, and Global Perspectives.
The project allows students to explore history and different musical styles, learn songs and choreography from different cultures, and present them at festivals, encouraging creativity, artistic expression, and active participation. Each activity becomes an opportunity to learn, experience, and enjoy music as a universal language.
An interdisciplinary and creative project
Creativity is at the heart of this project. By coordinating activities across different subjects, we seek to develop students’ talents, reinforce language learning, and encourage curiosity and critical thinking. In addition, each student has a voice and a leading role, choosing songs, dances, and costumes, and actively participating in school life and celebrations.

From the design of sets and photo calls to the dissemination of activities on the web and social networks, the project turns education into an exciting, meaningful, and shared experience.
