First-year sixth form students took part in two activities to mark 25 November, a date set aside to remind us of the importance of living together in a safe and respectful environment. First, they created a mural representing values such as empathy, mutual support and peaceful coexistence. Through images and messages, each group contributed their ideas to build a collective work that reflects everyone’s effort and creativity.

In addition to the mural, students attended a class focused on understanding what toxic relationships are and how they can affect everyday life. During the session, they reflected on harmful attitudes that sometimes go unnoticed and on the importance of learning to set boundaries, communicate clearly and ask for help when necessary. The aim was not to convey ideological discourses, but to offer tools for recognising situations that cause discomfort and promoting healthier behaviours.

Both activities served to reinforce the importance of healthy communication. The students discussed how to improve the way we treat others and how to identify signs of unbalanced or conflictive relationships. These reflections helped them to consider their own role in creating positive environments.

Overall, the commemoration of 25 November became an opportunity to grow as a group and as individuals. Between the artwork and the reflection session, the students reflected on how respect, listening and consideration for others are fundamental to harmonious coexistence. The mural remains as a reminder of that shared learning and the importance of continuing to cultivate attitudes that promote the common good.
